On December 31, I couldn’t stop thinking or feeling frustrated over how horrible I looked with my XL size clothes; I was forced to buy it because nothing else could fit me. Meanwhile, my cousin is looking spectacular and is the life of the party in her size S dress. I was never okay being the “chubby” girl in school. I hated the stares and the teasing and would hide in the bathroom to avoid getting emotionally hurt by anyone. I became excluded and I didn’t want to leave my house. While all my friends and cousins would talk about boys and parties, I’d be sitting in a corner infuriated because my weight was not letting me be happy and enjoy my life. Tired of not being able to have what I wanted, I transformed my life with the help and inspiration of Alejandro Chabán. I followed all of his advice and changed my eating habits. No more eating 8 random meals a day, but instead I ate 5 nutritionally balanced meals without empty calories. I also started exercising constantly and that is how I started my journey towards a new life and a spectacular body. I have a new life now and I feel proud to go to the beach 44 pounds lighter and I’m not afraid to show my body. Thanks to the Yes You Can! Products, my body is now toned and defined. The happiest moment of my life was when I was able to buy a beautiful dress, even more so than my cousin’s, and celebrate the end of my overweight and the beginning of a new year looking amazing.
